A method for laying a flexible pipeline consisting of an outer pipe and one or more inner pipes (6), the space between them being filled with a hardable fluid. The pipeline is provided with elements for withstanding pulling forces in longitudinal direction which elements, however, hardly reduce the flexibility in one plane. These elements may consist of one cable (20) centrally located in the pipeline (6) by means of expandable spacers (25), one or more cables in the form of a large-pitch coil, or one or more cables in one plane with the axis of the pipeline. Such a flexible pipeline may also be used for coupling two pipeline segments or for mounting a pipeline to a body. |
