The working elements of the container door rotary bolt are fitted at the top and bottom of the doors. They consist of vertical rotary shaft (14), on the ends of which tongues (32) and cam-faced head elements (30) are fitted. The latter cooperate with holding recess (25) formed by elements (27) provided on base plate (21) with fixing holes (22). Each head element has two radially extending cams (36,37), which engage inner curved faces (28) on base plate elements in locked position. The distance between the two cam faces coincides with the distance between the two inner curved faces. The tongues fitted underneath the head glide during the rotation of the shaft on inclined surface (26) aligning the door leaves with the foor frame, prior to the locking operation. (DS).
