<p>There are a number of jets (10) located along the carrier (5) in the pressure zone (7), to provide thermal treatment for spread piece goods, particularly to relax them. The air from the jets is recirculated through a drying chamber, and there is a permeable lid (6) for the pressure zone, which is subjected to underpressure. There is a fan (8) at one end of the pressure zone (7), below the carrier (5), while its suction inlet is linked to the zone above the carrier (5). The jets are located in a continuous band (10) or a drum moving with the carrier, opening to the pressure zone (7), and additional jets are located in the wall of the zone (7). The design gives a heat treatment unit in a simple construction, giving a drying action during shrinking, which is suitable for a variety of fabrics without equipment conversion.</p> |
