<p>PURPOSE:To produce a titled can provided with a convex annular side edge part on the outer side and a flat central panel by pressing the part to become the central part outward at the time of forming the annular side edge part on the bottom face. CONSTITUTION:A draw ironing forming which is flat over the entire surface of the bottom face is formed from a metal plate blank by using a punch 4 and ironing dies. Successively, the end of the punch 4 is approached to the top face of a bottom face working die 8 until the peak face 8b1 of the annular convex part and the flat bottom face of the formed draw ironning can A contact, whereby the forming of the annular side edge part A1 is started. At the instant when the punch 4 reaches the bottom dead point, the central panel A2 is elastically deformed so as to slightly bulge outward of the can. After the forming, compressed air is supplied from the opening 6b2 to the can bottom face, then the can A is easily removed from the punch 4. At the time when it is removed, the panel A2 elastically resets to a panel having a flat for hammer test aptitude.</p> |
