<p>PURPOSE:To improve productivity by providing memory a device which store the crucible temperature and a timer device so that after casting is performed once the same casting may be performed automatically. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency inverter 6 operates and the temp. of crucible 2 rises. The output of a radiation thermometer 12 inputs to a comparator 26. Since the storage value of a temp. memory device 18a is the temp. at which the crucible 2 has been heated most, the comparator 26 does not form any holding signal. When the crucible 2 attains the optimum temp. for pouring, a manual switch 46 is closed and a control part 44 emits a renewal signal to the memory device 18a which in turn stores the output of an A/D converter 16. At this time, the output of the radiation thermometer 12 and the storage value of the temp. memory device 18a coincide, hence the comparator 26 inputs the holding signal to a heating control unit 10 which in turn maintains the temp. of the crucible 2. When the time suited for pouring elapses after the optimum pouring temperature has been reached, the manual switch 46 is opened to stop the inverter 6. Further, the output of an OR circuit 42 is supplied to a pouring device 52, by which the molten metal in the crucible 2 is poured into the mold.</p> |
