PURPOSE:To equalize the jet speed of ink from each nozzle by connecting a common ink chamber and a liquid chamber with a piezoelectric element by an ink supply pathway formed in to a plurally bent structure. CONSTITUTION:Ink in a common ink chamber 2 is directed through an ink supply pathway 3 into a liquid chamber whose wall is fitted with a piezoelectric element 4 and then injected in the form of fine particles from top nozzle 7 by means of the contraction of the piezoelectric element 4 in an ink jet recorder provided with a multinozzle type print head. In such an ink jet recorder, the ink supply pathway 3 leading from the common ink chamber 2 to the liquid chamber 5 is formed by bending a pipe vertically, right-angledly, and multilaminarly. Since the distance between the liquid chamber 5 and the common ink chamber 2 is lengthened and the pathway is plurally bent in this way, fluid resistance is increased and the influence of other nozzles is lessened. |
