PURPOSE:To raise the concentration of ink jet record as well as water resistance, light resistance, and color reproducibility of multicolored record by a method in which an ink jet recording sheet with porous structure is recorded and then voids in the porous structure are filled with a nonvolatile, colorless substance. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording sheet with porous structure is recorded by ink jet printing and then voids in the porous structure are filled with a filler which is preferably nonvolatile, causes no migration, discolorized by heat and light, and has a boiling point of 300 deg.C or higher and an evaporation loss of less then 1.0% at 98 deg.C for 5hr. |
