The soundproofing enclosure for the engine of a utility vehicle has the panels secured to the chassis and there are removable sections (8) for access to the engine. The removable sections have sloping mating faces with the fixed sections to act as a self centering system and with rapid fasteners (9) to secure the fitting. The self centering action is enhanced by profiled mating strips which serve to limit the lateral displacement of the sections. One of the removable sections forms the oil sump protection for the engine.
