This coilable rule and its replacement cartridge comprise a tape mounted in a cartridge adapted to be detachably mounted in turn in a casing. The cartridge constitutes an integral unit and consists of a central post rigid with a lateral flange and of a spool comprising a lateral flange adapted to pivot about the central post. The lateral flange of the central post is formed integrally with an element for retaining the inner end of the tape on the spool, and this element extends over the outer peripheral wall of the spool, from which it is spaced, and is parallel to the central post. Lug means are also provided for holding the cartridge against rotation in the casing. |
