PURPOSE:To avoid greter effect of suboscillation on main oscillation and to make the size small, by determining the ration of profile size to thickness to a given value, in an AT-cut quartz oscillator having almost circular plate shape. CONSTITUTION:From a graph with a ratio of the profile to thickness of an AT-cut quartz oscillator having almost circular plate shape and with the frequency ratio F/F0 in which the frequency and the frequency constant (f)X(t) of thickness slide oscillation in the AT-cut quartz oscillator satisfy 1,667kHz.mm., the plots in which the main oscillation given in X-marks are not coupled with the suboscillation given in black-rounds, that is, the effect of the suboscillation on the main oscillation is almost absent and the range of lower equivalent resistance is present, are selected. That is, the ratio of D/t is taken as 2.5-3.0, 3.4-2.7, and 4.2-4.7. |
