PURPOSE:To stably support the oscillator with a good oscillation mode, by providing thin and wide film at the upper and lower surfaces of a rod shaped quartz oscillator, reaching the wiring pattern from both the electrodes to one end of the rod shaped quartz oscillator and bonding one end to a flat stem. CONSTITUTION:At the upper and lower surface of a rod shaped quartz oscillator 31 in which the flat shape is rectangular, the side is of convex lens and one end, at least, has a flat part, a thin film electrode 35 is widely attached with vacuum deposition. Further, a long wiring pattern 37 is extended from the electrode 35 to one end 32. On the other hand, insulating, hard and flat ceramic stem or hermetic stem 42 is provided with two electrodes 41, and the long axis of the rod shaped quartz oscillator 31 is bonded with the electrode of the stem 42 with solder or conductive adhesives so that the axis is perpendicular to the electrode surface. |
