PURPOSE:To secure extreme safe and easy handling of high speed air grinder, by providing it with an automatic stopping function. CONSTITUTION:On the outer circumferential surface of an inner sleeve 13 attached to a holder 12 of a cutting tool, is rotatably engaged through a coil spring 19, which resiliently tends to generally restrict an outer sleeve 17 to its stop position, the outer sleeve 17 that is operated to rotate between start and stop position for the cutting tool. As a result, by rotating the outer sleeve 13 to energize the coil spring 19 and to be moved to the start position, the cutting tool can be rotated, and particulary when it is required to stop the cutting tool, only by loosening the holding of the outer sleeve 17 the coil spring 19 is restored to its released position due to its resiliency, so that the outer sleeve 17 is automatically rotated to the stop position to stop the cutting tool. |
