A clutch (10) contains two pressure plates (12, 14) which have teeth (26, 32) on mutually facing end faces, via which teeth they engage with one another. As soon as the one pressure plate (12, 14) carries out a tangential movement with respect to the other pressure plate (14, 12), the teeth (26, 32) come to rest on one another and form an axial force which leads to engagement of the clutch (10). A stop (18) is provided on one of the two pressure plates (12, 14), which stop permits a limited, an unlimited or even no relative movement between the two pressure plates (12, 14). The stop (18) is controlled as a function of parameters such as the steering angle and the direction of travel. Two such clutches (10) are used in a differential of a wheel drive. …<IMAGE>… |
