PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorant which is excellent in a deodorizing effect and durability, by a method wherein a carbonate is used in combination with a solid acid anhydride at a normal temperature to produce deodorant. CONSTITUTION:A carrier, such as active carbons carryig at the normal temperature a solid acid anhydride, such as phthalic acid anhydride, maleic acid anhydride, is used in combination with a carrier, such as active carbons carrying carbonate such as sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate to produce deodorant. The resulting deodorant is casy in management and has an excellent deodorizing effect which lasts, and besides, reduces a running cost, whereby it has a wide use as a deodorant for refrigerator and a cleaning agent for the interior air. |
