PURPOSE:To make small the size and reduce the cost by means of the reduction in the number of components, by using the interface circuit for serial data input and output through switching. CONSTITUTION:In transmission mode of a facsimile device, the video signal at a picture transmission section 24 is input to a microcomputer 21 via an input selection circuit 23 and serial-parallel conversion circuit 22 for picture processing. Further, the digital signal of picture processing is modulated 30 via a parallel-serial circuit 28 and output selection circuit 29 and transmitted to the line 33 via a network control section 32. Further, in the reception mode of the facsimile device, the signal from the line 33 is demodulated 25 via the network control section 32 and input to the microcomputer 21 via an input selection circuit 23 and serial-parallel conversion circuit 22 for picture processing. Further, the digital signal of picture processing is fed to a picture reception section 31 via a conversion circuit 28 and selection circuit 29 for the reproduction of picture. |
