PURPOSE:To enable to recover trapped ink rapidly and at a high recovering efficiency and prevent as possible the volatilization of the solvent of the ink, penetration of dust into the ink and the like by providing a water-repellent film coat at an ink-droplet receiving part and an ink outflow passage of the titled gutter. CONSTITUTION:The gutter for trapping the ink droplets which are jetted from an ink jet head and are not used for printing is composed of the ink-droplet receiving part 7, the ink outflow passage 8 and an ink-recovering port 9. The ink-droplet receiving part 7 and the ink outflow passage 8 are provided thereon with the water- repellent film coat such as Teflon. Accordingly, the ink impinging on the ink-droplet receiving part 7 are hardly deposited to the part 7 and the ink outflow passage 8 exhibits a favorable flowing property, so that the ink can be recovered rapidly. |
