PURPOSE:To obtain a composite fiber having the feeling of natural material, by supplying a spinning raw material and a binder on a rotary disk and collecting the materials by the action of an electrostatic corona discharge generated between the disk and a counter electrode placed opposite to the circumferential edge of the disk interposing a gap. CONSTITUTION:A spinning raw material which is a short fiber or long fiber of preferably 3mu-400mm long is impregnated with a low-boiling solvent and supplied to a surface of a rotary disk 1. At the same time, the other face of the disk is supplied with a binder which is preferably an acrylic polymer. The spinning raw material and the binder are transferred to the peripheral part of the disk by the rotation of the disk 1 and made to contact with electrostatic corona discharge generated by applying a potential between the disk and a counter electrode placed opposite to the circumferential edge of the disk interposing a gap. The obtained collected product deposited on the counter electrode is peeled therefrom to obtain the objective fiber. |
