A multi-shaft weaving frame (Fig. 1) is a table-type weaving frame for advanced weaving technique, in which the warp is expediently set up with the weaving frame as the winding wheel, after which the warp is drawn in. The weaving frame has, for example, four shafts 1-4, which lie in the lift channels 11-14 on two shaft holders 15. The shafts are lifted by hand and locked in narrow recesses 16 in the lift channel. The heald is fastened in slots 6 on the shaft. Drawing-in takes place for one shaft at a time with a thread according to a shaft list, which gives the position of the heald directly above its threads. All the shafts are drawn in in lift channels 11, the length of the heald being given by a heald sensor inserted in a recess 17 on the shaft holder. <IMAGE> |
