PURPOSE:To prepare food such as piroshki, giaoz, etc. automatically, by folding a pastry web transferred horizontally to the top-opened U-shape, placing the stuffings separately on the pastry at regular intervals, and cutting each stuffed pastry shell. CONSTITUTION:A rolled pastry web 4 supported with a pastry web supporter 2 fixed on the top face of the main frame 1, is unwound and supplied to the compression roll pair 5 to obtain the pastry sheet 6 having desired thickness. The pastry sheet 6 is transferred horizontally on a reforming guide plate 9 and shaped to the top-opened U-shape with folding fins 10. It is transferred to the quantitative feeder 11, and stuffed at regular intervals with stuffing 16 fed from the hopper 13 furnished with an agitater screw 12. The pastry sheet with the stuffing is folded double with a pair of rollers comprising an elastic roller 7 and a metal roller 8 having a cavity of half ellipsoidal shape corresponding to the shape of the desired food, and at the same time, cut with a cutter edge 24 attached to the circumference of the cavity 22 of the roller 8, at the circumference of the part containing the stuffing. The separated food is taken out with a food conveyor 25. |
