<p>PURPOSE:To give a test for the normalcy of the cartridge output, by supplying the change of magnetization of the servo track to the counting means and then comparing the count value of the counting means with the contents of the means to set the lower and upper limits of the count value. CONSTITUTION:The servo track signal recorded to the cartridge tape medium is converted into the electric signal through the reproduction head 201 and then supplied to the counter circuit 205 via the full-wave rectifying circuit 203 and the slicing circuit 204. Then the outputs of the registers 206 and 208 which set the upper and lower limits of the count value of the circuit 205 are compared with the count value of the circuit 205 through the comparators 207 and 209 each. And in case the outputs are at a fixed level, the servo signal is decided correct, or otherwise a display is given through the control circuit 210. Accordingly, an automatic test is possible for the record state of the servo track and the reproduction output level by just adding a simple circuit.</p> |
