CHANNEL CHANGEEOVER SWITCH MECHANISM BY TAPE TENSION OF AUTOREVERSE TYPE CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER

PURPOSE:To ensure an assured operation of a cassette tape player with a low price, by providing one of the right left push bars to the pop-up lever with the other set to the head chassis each and then installing the contact bar cover to the channel change-over plate. CONSTITUTION:The left push bar guide 3 and the right push bar guide 3' are attached to the pop-up lever 5 and the head chassis 6 each. And the push bars 1 and 1' are guided to the front holes 21 and 21' plus the rear holes 22 and 22' of the guides 3 and 3' each and then pressed to the tape by the springs 2 and 2'. Then the bars 1 and 1' are pushed up due to an increment of the tape tension at the end of the tape travelling, and thus the electric contact bars 23 and 23' provided in the back of the bars 1 and 1' each touch the earth parts 24 and 24' of the guide 3. As a result, the circuit of the magnet 7 is closed. Then the contact bar cover 4 is provided to the change-over plate 8 to prevent an electric closure for both the bar 23 and the part 24 which is caused in coupling to the channel switching.
