PURPOSE:To enhance the transfer velocity of the data to a higher-rank unit, by performing a simultaneous recording/reproduction with two or more magnetic heads via several pairs of read/write circuits. CONSTITUTION:The read/write is controlled via two pairs of the read/write circuit parts 13 for two or more units of the magnetic heads 12 and 12 for both surfaces of each of the disks 11 which form the disk stack 1 which are controlled for their rotations by the servo circuit 14 or the like. Thus the transfer velocity of the data is enhanced greatly in comparison with the unit which performs a serial process by a head having the same recording density through a parallel process, since a simultaneous recording/reproduction is carried out by two or more heads and in synchronization with each other. |
