PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic which has electric anisotropy and wxcellent dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics by using crystal particles whose orientation is in the direction of an axis C as for a three-constituent piezoelectric material to which a composite compound is added as a PbTiO3-PbZrO3 system constituent or the 3rd constituent. CONSTITUTION:Strong-acid TiCl3 kept at 95 deg.C is turned to be a white deposite with the air blown thereon, is washed sufficiently by water, filtered and dried, and thus a needle-shaped TiO2 is prepared. In this way, the ceramic wherein almost all the crystal particles are oriented in the direction of an axis C is obtained and the piezoelectric characteristic thereof is found to be excellent. |
