PURPOSE:To extend the compression and to increase the compressing rate, by providing the compressed character group identifying code of 4 bit in succession to the shift code of 4 bits, through taking all the characters used as compressible characters, and tramsmitting the compression code succeedingly. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting the transmission data ''LINE.320'' through the use of a conversion table, the transmitted data are converted into the fixed code ''F'', compressed character group code ''2'', compressed codes ''6'', ''5'', ''7'', ''3'', fixed code ''F'', compressed character code ''1'', compressed codes ''3'', ''2'', ''0'' and fixed code ''F'' (in matching to 8-bit unit). The compressed character group codes are O-F listed at the left of the conversion table, and for example, in the group indicated in the compressed character group code ''2'', the characters such as A, D, E, G... are included. |
