Tractor driven soil cultivating machine - has mulch knives bent over gearbox and chopping knives away from it

The soil cultivating machine is driven from a tractor power take-off, it has a gearbox at the centre of a cutting rotor with a number of knives fixed to discs. On each side of the gearbox (2) are a number of mulch knives (4) bent at right angles, and extending part-way over it. A similar number of sickle-shaped chopping knives (5) curve away from the gearbox, and between each mulch and chopping knife is a pointed sickle-shaped free cutting knife (6), shorter than the chopping one. A grinding plate can be mounted on the underside of the gearbox, extending rearwards and into the path of the mulch knife ends.
