<p>Machine for the mfr. of tartlet bases, buns etc. has a depositor station where a measured quantity of paste is charged into a mould cavity and an oven in which the paste is baked in the mould. Independent steel mould plates are now individually pivoted in succession along one side of a continuous, closed loop, conveyor chain. The free edge of each mould plate is carried by a continuous support rail. Apart from where the chain and rail pass through a demoulding station. The support rail in a horizontal position as it is carried through the depositor station and the oven. In the demoulding station downstream of the oven, the support rail descends suddenly w.r.t. the level of the conveyor chain track. This tilts the mould plate sharply to discharge the baked prod. from the mould. Used for mass prodn. of confectioners' paste prods. such as tartlet bases, buns etc. The mould plates are continually reusable. Mechanised demoulding eliminates manual operation. The empty moulds are returned automatically to the depositor station without manual intervention.</p> |
