The security system uses the finger print or hand print of a user to operate various types of equipment. The print may be formed on any material (e.g. paper, metal, plastic) and is scanned line by line. The scanned pattern is compared with a stored pattern. If the two patterns are identical, an enabling signal is released that enables the user to use the equipment, or open a lock.
