<p>The heat exchanger is made up of a number of plates which are arranged in rows on top of one another. Each of the plates is fitted with parallel longitudinal grooves (13,14) which are arranged on opposite sides of the plate. The plates are alternately grooved or flat (11) and are located by end spacers (15). The ends of the plates are connected to end branches for the inlet and outlet of the fluids. The stock is encased in an outer box which supports the fluid branches.</p> |
