PURPOSE:To reduce the total read-in scanning time, by enabling the read-in scanning at the time of not only forwarding of a solidstate image sensor but also returning of it. CONSTITUTION:A solidstate image sensor 5 is a tilt state as shown in Figure at the start position S, and when it moves to the arrow B, the picture of the original O is read in and when the image sensor 5 reaches the end position E, the solenoid 44 is excited. Thus, a plate 32, printed board 33 and shield box 34 turn clockwise against the elasticity of the spring 41 viewed from the arrow b around the light axis OA. Further, a stay lever 42 is in contact with an upper side stopper bolt 36. With this state, the solidstate image sensor 5 is tilted by 2theta from the start position. In the mean time, the original O is intermittently fed, the solidstate image sensor 5 at the end E starts returning and the original picture is read in, while returning. When the sensor 5 is returned to the start position, the solenoid 44 is deenergized and the sensor 5 is restored to the initial tilt state with the elasticity of the spring 41. |
