Tractor drawn seed sower - has three staggered rows of close pitch plough blades with seeds fed down guide tubes

The attachment comprises a wheeled chassis (7,12) fitted with a transversely-mounted hopper (3) for the seeds. These latter pass through a gap (25), controlled by a rotating feed roller (27). The seeds are fed into several sets of guide tubes (53), passing down these tubes to fall into the furrows. Plough blades (47) are provided in front of the tubes to open up the furrows. These blades are mounted on height adjustable supports (81,82,83) and are arranged in three horizontal rows. The blades in these rows are staggered relative to each other to permit close spacing and the formation of close pitch furrows.
