PURPOSE:To raise the cooling effect of the cooling fan for the rotary electric machine by cutting and erecting the bottom end face and the cylindrical outer wall of the cylindrical material with bottom, forming two types of blades and making one cooling fan function as an axial fan and a centrifugal fan. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of -shaped cutout of equal pitch are formed at the end face 82 of the cylindrical metal plate 81 with bottom formed in -shape in cross section, are erected inwardly at a suitable oblique angle, and the first blade 84 is formed. Further, cutouts of the same number are also cut in equal pitch at the outer cylindrical portion 83 and are raised inwardly, thereby forming the second blade 85. In this case, the second blade 85 is disposed between the first blades 84. Since the first blades 84 operate as the axial fan and the second blades 85 operate as the centrifugal fan in this manner, cooling wind can be efficiently blown. |
