PURPOSE:To wash a matrix efficiently and economically by holding the washing water retained in the space at an outflow side of a matrix, at 130-180 deg.C by heating or cooling, and flushing it. CONSTITUTION:Valve 11 and valve 10 are closed, DC current to electromagnetic coil 6 is cut off, and high-temperature and high-pressure water is stored in the whole space of canister 1 as it is. Next, cooling water is flowed through cooling-water hose 7 to cool the temperature of the high-temperature and high-pressure water in space 4 down to 130-180 deg.C. In this state, when flush valve 12 is opened suddenly, the high-temperature and high-pressure water cooled down to 130-180 deg.C in space 4 is decompressed below the saturation pressure and part of it vapors, so that the volume increases. Therefore, the water in space 4 flows down in matrix 2 suddenly and the clad sticking the steel wool is peeled off and removed by the shearing force. |
