<p>PURPOSE:To give a user oneself mind on the operation of an apparatus by giving an alarm by sound corresponding to contents automatically when each detector detects the alarm being required. CONSTITUTION:Printer PRT, before printing numbers and symbols, decides the outputs of detectors DTC1 and DTC2. For example, when DTC1=NG, codes for four words equivalent to ''Please replace paper'' are generated under the control of control circuit CONT and transferred to register VM. Further, this number 4 of digits is set in counter CO and the contents of register VM are transferred to buffer B successively; and ROM is accessed in sequence from the address assigned by the code in buffer B by address counter AC and the above-mentioned four words are outputted from loudspeaker SP. Similarly, when detector DTC2=NG, a voice output indicating the supply of ink is outputted through a similar audio output subroutine.</p> |
