PURPOSE:To quicken and facilitate transaction processing by discriminating whether a transaction is possible or not on the basis of information required for the transaction and numeric information that a customer inputs and printing transaction record in the page of an item assigned by discriminating the availability for the transaction. CONSTITUTION:Bandbook 22 on which transaction information is printed is inserted into bankbook insertion opening 3 and then taken in by driving roller 25 with the confirmation key and magnetic head 26 reads the magnetic stripe of the bankbook. Next, optical sensor 27 detects the page mark of bankbook 22 and the specific symbol for detecting a line where the information is to be printed and the page mark and specific symbol are inputted to the main control part and stored. This main control part, while stopping the transmission of bankbook 22 temporarily, discriminates whether the transaction with the center is allowed or not on the basis of information read out of bankbook 22 and that inputted by the customer and, when receiving transaction availability information from the center, opens the page assigned by page turning-over mechanism 19 to print required transaction information by printing head 28, thereby quickening and facilitating the transaction processing. |
