PURPOSE:To enable the calibration with the same conditions at actual measurement, by specifying the constitution of a supporting mechanism of a moisture meter. CONSTITUTION:A neutron moisture meter 1 is fitted to a supporting head 53 of an inversion moving mechanism 5 provided with a rotary section 51, air cylinder 52, supporting head 53 and driving motor 55 via a spring 511 and guide pole 512. Thus, when the meter is adhered to the back side of a belt conveyor 4 beneath the dropping outlet of a hopper 2 under the control of a controller 6, the water content of raw material dropped on the surface of the belt conveyor 4 from the hopper 2 is measured, the rotary section 51 is rotated by the driving motor 5, and the neutron moisture meter 1 is rotated from the measuring position under the hopper 2 beneath by 180 deg. to move it to the calibration position, allowing the calibration with the same conditions as measured value by a calibration reference device 3. |
