PURPOSE:To enhance color forming sensitivity, by adding an acidic salt of leuco aminotriarylmethane and a strong acid, hexaarylbiimidazole as a photooxidant for said salt, and besides a cobalt (III) complex. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive fluid is prepared by dissolving in a solvent a binder, a coloring adjuvant, and the like, and as chief constituents, an acidic salt of leuco aminotriarylenethane, preferably having any of alkyl, alkoxy, and halogen at the ortho position with respect to methane carbon in 2 or more aryl groups, and a strong acid, such as hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, or Lewis acid of ZnCl2 or the like; and as a photooxidant, hexaarylbiimidazole together with a cobalt (III) complex such as hexaammine cobalt (III) trifluoroacetate. This photosensitive fluid is coated on a base such as paper and dried to form a photosensitive sheet, and an image of high contrast is formed with high sensitivity by exposing the sheet to ultraviolet rays. |
