Ultrasonic diagnostic unit is for examination of e.g. the human body interior by irradiation with ultrasonic waves. The appts. comprises probes each having an electro acoustic transducer driven by a transmitter producing different wave characteristics for each probe. Acoustic waves so produced are received and passed to filters for acoustic signal extraction w.r.t. ultrasonic wave characteristics radiated along several paths.
