PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus enabling smooth transfer of a can and having simplified structure, by placing a can-rotation position on a can transfer conveyor, providing a plurality of rollers supporting the bottom of a can and making the rollers to be rotatable in radial directions diverging from the center of the can. CONSTITUTION:A can-rotation position 11 to stop the transfer of a can 2 and rotate the can is placed in the middle of a can-transfer conveyor 1 to support the bottom of the can 2 and transport the can in horizontal direction. A plurality of rollers 20 supporting the bottom of the can 2 are placed at the can-rotating position 11 in such a manner to be rotatable in radial directions diverging from the center of the can 2 or thereabout. The roller 20 is composed of roller shaft 21 fixed between bearing members 18, 19 and between the bearing member 18 and a side frame 4 and a roller main body 22 attached to the roller shaft 21. The rotational direction of one side of the roller 20 based on the transfer direction of the can is made to be switchable between the same direction and opposite direction of the rotation of the other side of the roller 20. A can 2 can be smoothly transferred in spinning process by the use of the above can- transfer and rotation apparatus. |
