PURPOSE:To raise no-load Q of a resonator without enlarging the whole size, by setting the width of the part where a stationary wave current of the resonant line is the largest, to approx. two times as thick as thickness of the substrate, and relatively making narrow the width of the part where the stationary wave current is small. CONSTITUTION:As to the resonator which is of strip or microstrip structure and has a resonant line 23 which has short-circuited or released the end of the transmission line, the width W2 of the part where the loss in the distributed constant line is the largest, that is to say, the line part where a stationary wave current is the largest is widened in order to raise no-load Q of the resonator, and other part is made relatively narrow so as to control an increase of loss. |
