WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN ANTI-POLLUTION SYSTEM

System for suppression of pollution in fiber attenuating operations, especially in mineral fiber insulation blanket production. The system disclosed provides gas blast attenuation of the attenuable material in a fiber forming chamber and for recirculation of attenuating gases. There are disclosed various controls used in association with the gas recirculation system, provision being made for controlling the temperature, pressure and recirculation rate of the recirculating gases. Still further the system disclosed includes provision for the spraying of water upon the recirculating gases, and there is disclosed means for recirculating the water and for controlling the temperature of the recirculating water.
