<p>PURPOSE:To continuously execute reproducing by selecting one of four auto- tracking areas in a frame at the time of variable speed reproducing, and at the time generating head blocking in case of executing control based upon one head, switching the head concerned to the other head. CONSTITUTION:An RS-FF 45 is reset by a reset signal from a timing generating circuit 41, an OR circuit 49 is turned to a low level, a D-type FF 51 is turned to a low level at the trailing edge of a latch pulse generated from a timing generating circuit 41 and the low level output is inputted to an EX OR circuit 40a in an area selecting circuit 40. When a head switching pulse HSWP generating circuit 12 selects a head 1b and its high level output is inputted to the EX OR circuit 40a, an AND circuit 31 outputs a pulse SP2 to the 2nd sample holding circuit 25. Even when blocking is generated in a head 1a in said constitution, the head 1a is switched to the head 1b to continue the reproducing.</p> |
