PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate synchronizing signal compensated for the strain of a voltage waveform due to commutation by forming the synthesized voltage of the terminal voltage of the generator and the amount of reverse phase reactance voltage drop as a thyristor firing control synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A terminal voltage ea having a drop during the superposed commutation period is obtained the secondary side of an instrument transformer PTa, and the generator current ia detected by the instrument current transformer CTa generates a compensated voltage vsa in a reverse phase reactance x2. These both voltages are supplied to a synthesizing circuit Sa, which sequentially produces compensated sine wave voltages ea', eb', ec', which are inputted to a thyristor firing control device APPS, thereby obtaining a nostrain line voltage to be utilized as a synchronizing signal of a thyristor rectifier SR. Even if the terminal voltage of the generator ACG is strained, the synchronizing signal for controlling the firing of the thyristor can be accurately obtained. |
