PURPOSE:To enable a turnabout of a large number of seats for a train, etc. efficiently by a method wherein the seats are turned by means of air cylinders by using rack gears. CONSTITUTION:The seat pads 1 of seats are mounted on a rotary frame 2 with back pads 13, and integrally formed in rotatable shapes by the revolution of a rotary bar 19. The rotary frame 2 is supported by means of a seat base 3, a drive cylinder 6 is installed to a lower section of the seat base 3, and the cylinder drives a rack gear 5 in the left and right direction. A spur gear 4 mounted to a rotary bar 19 is engaged with the rack gear 5, and the seats are turned with the rotary frame 2 by the action of the drive cylinder 6. A concave section is formed to a disc 20 installed to a lower end of the rotary bar, and a connecting attaching point 10 is connected by means of a releasing air cylinder 11 to fix the seats. The seats are simply rotated and converted by means of the drive cylinder 6. The back pads are erected by means of air cylinders 15 when rotating the seats. |
