The flanks of this tyre (11, 11'), which are not reinforced with any textile insert, as in conventional tyres, but are constructed by means of an injection process, are constituted by a mixture the compression dynamic elasticity modulus of which according to the Voigt linear model (ie the elasticity modulus measured on the sample while the latter is subjected to stresses and consequent cyclic compression deformations) exhibits an absolute value of between 8 Mpa and 13 Mpa (megapascal) and a value of the tangent of the hysteresis loss angle between 0.03 and 0.15. The tyres of the type described exhibit, as compared with known tyres, a marked increase in the quality of the behavioural characteristics on the road, in the constancy of these characteristics over time and in the service life of the tyre. <IMAGE>
