PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of operating performance of an air conditioner during acceleration period with load on the air conditioner by a method in which compressor is not operated while the step-in speed of accelerator pedal is above a given value. CONSTITUTION:When stepping an accelerator pedal 1, a voltage is generated in proportion to the stepped amount by a stroke displacement meter 2, and then the voltage is converted into a varying rate, or a value A to show stroke speed V proportional to the acceleration speed of automobile, by a differentiating circuit 31. The value A is then compared with a given value B corresponding to an acceleration previously set up by a logical operation circuit 32, and if A>B, a switch 33 to energize an electromagnetic clutch 5 turns off, whereas if A<B, the switch 33 turns on. Thus, if an on-off switching point is beforehand set up for the switch 33 of an electronic circuit 3 according to the desired value of stroke speed, a compressor 4 can be stopped under more than desired loading condition. |
