PURPOSE:To perform a work using a syringe such as injection or blood-collecting examination safely, rapidly and certainly, by mounting a needle cover to the syringe. CONSTITUTION:A sliding type needle cover 5 made of transparent plastic is mounted to a syringe consisting of a cylinder 1, a piston 2 and a needle 3. When the syringe is used, injection or blood-collection is performed to an examinee or patient in such as state that the cover 5 is raised upwardly and the needle cover 5 is immediately slid in such a state that the needle is pulled out to be allowed to fall and fixed by the engagement of a protruding part 4 with a recessed part 6 to cover the tip of the needle. After the collection of blood, the blood in the syringe is transferred to an opened container such as a test tube by pushing the piston of the syringe while the needle cover is applied. In order to transfer not only blood but also the liquid in the syringe to a sterilized and disinfected closed container without bringing the same into contact with the open air, a lid 8 equipped with a rubber cap 7 is used in the container and inserted in the cover. Whereupon, the tip of the needle thrusts in the rubber cap part at the same time to enter the interior and injection can be performed safely, rapidly and stably. |
