This carrying and guiding profile is used to provide a running rail for suspension tracks which is intended to permit low-wear operation of the running gear rollers in a wide loading region. The carrying and guiding profile consists of a part profile (A) which has a semicircular load-bearing surface (1), and a part profile (B) which has a horizontally extending load-bearing surface (3). The two part profiles (A), (B) possess vertically extending guiding surfaces (2, 4) and are connected to each other via a web (C). When running gear for relatively small loads and low speeds is used, the part profile (A) which has the semicircular load-bearing surface (1) lies at the top, a correspondingly designed load roller lying in a punctiform manner and guiding the running gear at the same time. In the case of running gear for relatively large loads and speeds, the part profile (B) which has the horizontally extending load-bearing surface (3) lies at the top, the load roller lying in a linear manner and the part profile (A) at the bottom serving for guiding the running gear. <IMAGE> |
