PURPOSE:To ensure to record the video signal in high speed, by recording the video signal every scanning line in a given period during the moving period of recording medium, and detecting the video signal of the next scanning line synchronizingly during the repetitive recording period. CONSTITUTION:The memory section 1 inputting video signal VS is provided with two video signal memories 11, 12 which store the signal VS every scanning line, enabling to select the operation of write-in and readout individually by the selectors 13, 14. Further, a write-in/readout control section 2 is provided with address counter which determines the write-in/readout address of the video signal VS according to the memories 11, 12. Further, every time when the write-in end signal RE produced at the control section 2 is input to the memory control section 3, drive pulse MP is fed to the drive mechanism of recording medium and the recording operation is repetitively made. In this case, during the recording operation of the 1st video signal VS, when the storage of the next 2nd video signal VS to the memory 1 is detected, the recording of the 2nd video signal VS is started in synchronizing with the detected timing, to ensure the recording operation. |
