PURPOSE:To execute the application program under the same state as normal operation without changing it for test to test the application program of the I/O device of the control object, by connecting the simulation test device to the I/O but of the computer to be tested. CONSTITUTION:Computer 1 to be tested exchanges information with I/O devices DV1-DV7 through I/O bus 2 and controllers CNT1-CNTn. Device addresses (D.A) are assigned to respective controllers, and point addresses (P.A) are assigned to respective signal lines, and D.A and P.A are designated when data is output from computer 1 to be tested to I/O devices. The simulation test device (consisting of converter 5 and simulator 6) disconnects a designated I/O device registered with D.A and P.A from computer 1 to test the application program and performs the simulation operaion of the designated device and not only writes internal state change in memory 29 of simulator 6 but also displays it on display equipment 39. |
