PURPOSE:To enable uniform coating of a fixed quantity of the inspecting substance constantly by detecting the wetting condition of a supporting body electrically and thereby controlling the coating of the inspecting substance such as serum. CONSTITUTION:The voltage corresponding to a resistance value in accordance with the quantity of the electrolytic solution wetting the supporting body is detected from the current flowing through the supporting body by contact terminals 16 and 17 which are supported at a prescribed interval by an insulating holder 18 and whereon the fixed voltage is impressed, and is compared with the reference voltage in a detection-comparison circuit 19. By the coincidence output delivered when the detection voltage outputted the above circuit 19 coincides with the reference voltage, through the intermediary of a control circuit 20 and by means of a motor 13, a cam 14, etc. a tip 11 for coating is made to contact with the supporting body 15 and the supporting body is coated with the inspecting substance in a fixed quantity constantly. |
